::: ACHIEVEMENTS
Over a decade of its existence, the Sacred Heart Catholic College has taken a series of giant strides and achieved many feats, notable among which are:-
1.	It has become a full-fledged secondary school already offering virtually all the subjects currently being offered by its long-established counterparts in the state. It is in fact one of the few schools where the three major Nigerian Language (Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo) are made available for the students to choose from in their Junior School Certificate Examination. The French language has also been made compulsory for students up to the SS 1 class because of the unique geographical position of Nigeria as a country surrounded on all sides by Franco-phone countries. This step has also yielded its own dividends as the school defeated all other secondary schools in Ogun State to win the coveted Nigeria Association of French Teachers (NAFT) Quiz and Drama Competition Trophy in June 2009 and came fourth in the national edition of the same competition held at the French Village in Badagry in October 2009.
2.	Its enrolment has risen immensely from 140 at the outset to about nine hundred and twenty. The number of its teaching staff soared considerably from 13 to 101 (all being permanent teachers) most of whom are graduates with qualifications acquired while being kept on the job or before employment, and some of whom are still pursuing higherqualifications to make them better improve on their output.
3.	Since 2002 to date, the school has presented eleven sets of students for the external Junior School Certificate Examinations. Each of the sets presented for the examinations recorded resounding success as most of them have had distinction and credit passes in the subjects offered with only very few failures. A feat indeed! In 2008, the school began to present JSS 3candidates for the NECO Junior School Certificate Examination. This has necessitated the setting up of a typing pool as Typewriting and Shorthand are part of the syllabus for the NECO Junior Certificate Examination. It is of interest that our students have rising up to these challenges as shown in the results of the sets presented so for.
4.	In the senior category, all the ten sets presented so far for the WAEC and NECO SSC Examinations have passed them creditably, with the results getting better each year. The percentage of candidates who qualify each year for higher education studies keeps getting higher with the WAEC/SSCE 2007/2008 hitting the climax of 93%- a very good result when viewed particularly from the background of the much publicized woeful 13% pass general performance nation-wide. It is cheering news that some of the 2004/2005 graduating (pioneer) class 2005/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2009/2010, have successfully completed their degree programmes this year and the formation of the Alumni Association has also taken off.
5.	The school has participated in various schools’ competition (academic and others) at zonal, state and national levels and has won laurels too many to list out here among which are;-
1.	Ogun State Medical Student Association College of Medicine, University of Ibadan Annual Essay Competition for Secondary Schools in Ogun State. Third position was won by SeunAdgbite in 2001 while OparaChiaka clinched the first position in 2011.
